Featuring dim sum classics that are served out of old-fashioned trolleys such as Steamed Siew Mai with Crab Roe and Char Siew Pau to live cooking stations that dish up the likes of Kampong-Style Charcoal Grilled Chicken and Beef, and Singapore-Style Chili Crab Gravy with Crispy Man Tou. If you enjoy Thai cuisine, you might enjoy a National Day meal at Tangerine, a farm-to-table Thai-inspired dining concept. Using spices freshly handpicked from their herb garden, the National Day menu will feature seafood dishes such as Salted Egg Crab and Seared Barramundi & Crab Curry that is made from whole grains, fresh fruits, vegetables, and premium seafood.

Jamie’s Italian (Forum)
In commemoration of the National Day celebration, Jamie’s Italian Singapore at Forum Shopping Mall has come up with scrumptious Singapore-inspired dishes like the Chili Crab Pasta (S$32.95++), which comprises a sweet and savoury tomato and chilli sauce, crab meat and prawns that’s tossed with homemade fresh pasta. For dessert, you can try the restaurant’s take on Cendol (S$16.95++) that’s made with coconut-infused panna cotta, pandan-flavoured jelly, slow-cooked sweetened red beans, and gula melaka.
The National Day specials are available all day from now to 11 August.

Deliveroo and Burger King Super Shiok Set
If you’d rather spend National Day at home, you might want to consider Burger King’s special Super Shiok Set (S$26) which comprises two Taste of Singapore burgers (Rendang or Laksa), one-piece fried chicken, one large fries, two Hershey’s Sundae Pie, and two cans of Authentic Tea House—Yin Hao. Each order will come in a collectible box along with a tea towel that features an artistic mashup of Singapore.
