20 - 22 April 2018: Get Your Family Together At The National Museum Of Singapore!

 We’re heading into the second last week of April, but National Museum of Singapore is determined to party it up all the way with exciting weekend exhibitions for the entire family. As part of the Singapore Heritage Festival,The More We Get Together: Singapore’s Playgrounds 1930 – 2030 celebrates its exhibition opening with kid-friendly activities. Here are our top picks. 

Tots’ Workshop with Matali Crasset

Bond over interactive art through a special art workshop held by French artist Matali Crasset! Crafted specially for toddlers and their families, this workshop is suitable for children from ages 18 months to three years of age.

Bouncy Adventures

Your little one will have a bouncing good time at the National Museum, with interactive inflatable playgrounds inspired by iconic mosaic playgrounds of yesteryear! Embark on an “animal hunt” with their animal springers for more bouncy fun.

Enthral your kid with Timescapes – A Singapore Anthology, a collection of animated short films about life, love and the landscapes of Singapore through the National Museum’s Young Cinema programme.

Glass Magnet Drop-in Craft Station

With the help of talented facilitators from Tinkle Arts, have fun creating your very own Playgrounds memorabilia magnets!

Balloon Sculpting Station

Witness as balloons are ‘magically’ sculpted into unique forms of our iconic playgrounds, and get the chance to walk away with a balloon sculpture (for free!) if you know the secret code. PS: the code is ‘The More We Get Together’!)

3D Printing Station
