Working with popular bento artist/blogger Shirley Wong (@littlemissbento), they have come up with four new dishes that are chock full of vibrant colours and fresh quality ingredients. While still retaining signature PastaMania flavours we all know and love, the dishes are also recreated into loveable animal friends – Sunny, Paw Paw, Snowball and Meows – perfect for the little ones!

Sticky Wings, a fried chicken restaurant that recently set up shop at Westgate, flaunts a host of familiar sweet and spicy flavours inspired by Southeast Asia with a fast-casual self-service concept. Tanned golden-brown and crisped up in the deep-fryer, their wings come with two signature glazes – the child-friendly Sticky Kecap Manis (Indonesian sweet sauce) or the unapologetically fiery Spicy Flamin’ concocted with a secret blend of chillies. If preferred, the fried chicken can also be savoured ‘Naked’ without any sauce. Other highlights on their menu include Cluckin’ Good and Chick Magnet ($7.50/$7.90) – burgers made with Portuguese doughnuts in place of the usual buns and We Meat Again ($6.50) – fluffy straight-cut fries crowned with slow-cooked minced beef rendang!

Jamie’s Italian’s refreshed Kids’ Menu showcases a wide variety of healthy and flavourful dishes. The kiddos can choose from the Margherita Pizza ($12), topped with Jamie’s seven vegetable sauce, mozzarella cheese and fresh basil, or the Happy Chicken Lollipops ($12), prepared from free-range chicken fillets and served with baked sweet potato fries and crunchy seed. Another favourite is the Fantastic Fish Stew ($12), featuring sustainably-caught market fish with Jamie’s seven vegetable sauce, potato dumplings and peas. All dishes on the menu come with a choice of free-flow fruity water or a glass of milk/juice, as well as a Shake-Me Salad. Homemade sweet treats such as the Warm Chocolate Brownie served with vanilla ice cream, Toffee Pop-corn with chocolate sauce and Fresh Fruit Sorbets are also available at $3.50.
