From early Christmas festivities to entertaining showcases, there’s always something great to experience this month!

Sesame Street Run

Is your child a fan of Sesame Street? Now is his chance to meet his favourite Sesame Street characters such as Bert and Ernie, Elmo, Cookie Monster, and Grover up close. The Sesame Street Run is the world’s first and is being done as part of its 50th anniversary celebration. After visiting neighboring Asian countries like the Philippines, it is now making a stop in Singapore! The running event promises a fun-packed day with loads of activities for the whole family, including the five-kilometre family run. Families with younger children and grandparents in tow, there’s a three- and one-kilometre leisure walks so you don’t have to rush to get to the finish line.

As part of the celebration, participants will witness a giant birthday cake blowout and be flagged-off with a countdown by Sesame Street’s very own Count Von Count. The fun doesn’t stop there with Sesame Street carnival games and quizzes, promising everyone a truly merry Sesame Street experience.

Singapore Regatta Waterfest


On 15 to 17 November, OCBC Square will be transformed into a gigantic water playground where a myriad of water-themed activities have been put together for a fun-filled adventure. With the free admission, families and friends are able to enjoy the thrilling activities and games installed at this year’s Waterfest Carnival. Activities installed includes, Bubble Run, Water Obstacles, Water Explorer, Stand Up Paddling, and Splash & Dash and a Toddlers’ Friendly Zone. Bring your own picnic mats and bask in the sun at the Chill out Lounge. What’s more, redeem an exclusive Splash Pack (5L Waterproof Dry Bag, Ice Popsicle and more) when you check in at the Event Information booth on 16 and 17 Nov.

As part of the Learn to Paddle program, there will be two separate orientations: Kayaking and Dragon Boating at various time slots. Participants are able to experience the thrill and adrenaline rush from Dragon Boating, and the three-hour kayaking experience for new water enthusiasts. Plus, be there to witness 130 local and foreign artistic swimmers compete for top placings at the 14th Singapore National Open Artistic Swimming Championships. Audiences would also have the opportunity to be in awe by the grace and artistry of a hybrid of swimming, dance and gymnastics live at the OCBC Aquatic Centre.

Also, learn the fundamentals of bike handling and the secrets to being an efficient runner from the professional coaches from Triathlon Singapore at our Sports Development Series.

Seed Heritage Christmas Activations

Twilight Safari

Get ready for the biggest food and shopping bazaar this 2019. Themed #TWILIGHTSAFARI, Twilight: Flea & Feast will house over 60 F&B street food brands and 150 retail brands selling a wide selection of cosmetics, apparels, and accessories, among others, for visitors to shop from.

For kids who love animal-themed movies, the event will also feature screenings of nine movies for free! Enjoy watching them on the amazing picnic set-up by Picneeds with your loved ones. Here’s the movie schedule:

Artbox Singapore 2019

Now on its third iteration, Artbox Singapore will once again treat the whole family to over 300 regional and local entertainment acts, unique wares from creative retailers, and a wide range of family-friendly activities. This year’s theme is Artbox Singapore 2019: Eden, which invites everyone to have a slice of their own paradise. Some highlights to look forward to include: 

  • The Garden of Creation: The first-of-its-kind,12,000-square-foot experiential art playground that will treat kids and parents to a series of arts and crafts sessions such as the exclusive Artbox jagua tattoo, 3D-printing of accessories, perfumery workshops, and many more. Help raise funds for charity when you participate in a hydro-dipping horseshoe craft booth by Singapore Turf Club.
  • Visual installations and performances: Stimulate your child’s imagination when you check out the three-level-high entrance containers called Artbox Vines Arch, and the 30-by-3-metre feature wall with illuminated letters that form the word “Artbox.” Creatives and retailers also get to showcase their own work. For the first time, there will be artists and musical acts from Malaysia and Thailand lending their support to Artbox Singapore.
  • Culinary experience: Choose from a wide selection of delectable food choices, including vendors joining Artbox for the first time, making the event a fusion of art, music, and food.
  • New retail brands: Mums who love to shop can browse the quirky and unique wares and brands from retailers around the region including Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.

The King’s Fiesta

The Gingerbread Man

Follow the story of Ginger, a giant cookie who loves to run as much as he can! This reimagination of the classic tale of The Gingerbread Man will teach your child the value of teamwork. The story starts when Ginger broke his mum’s oven and determined to find a new one, he goes on a quest that will allow him to meet friends and work with them to achieve a common goal. Aside from the interactive storytelling, your child will also love the vibrant songs featured in the show.
