Introduce a serious topic like war with this child-friendly exhibition that provides bite-sized information on World War Two in Singapore, as well as fulfilling activities like crafts and dialogues.

Witness to War: Remembering 1942 Exhibition
Embark on a journey back in time as you explore Singapore during the Japanese Occupation. Uncover the events that led to this watershed event, get up close to world-class artefacts that relay the regional and international significance of the fall of Singapore, and learn the stories of those who lived through the tough times. Admission is free!

A Child’s Perspective: A Family Activity Space
Engage your children in important conversations at the family activity space, titled “A Child’s Perspective”. As part of the exhibition gallery, this special space provides a place for parents to guide their young ones through the complex topic of war. This activity space offers young visitors a glimpse of what war in Singapore was like for young people such as themselves, making the historical exhibition more relatable. On top of that, the kids can enjoy once-in-a-lifetime interactive activities such as exploring a makeshift air-raid shelter!

Digital Light Canvas: An Interactive Experience

Celebrate the end of 2017 with a family visit to the new permanent attraction, the Digital Light Canvas! With four different show modes, a vast array of colours and unique music, the ever-changing display is a definite must-see! On top of that, be amazed by the interactive LED floors and set off a series of digital reactions and customised messages on the installation with your mobile phone! There’s no doubt that the kids will be jumping up and down in excitement.
