Get ready for sparkles, magic, and friendship galore, because the My Little Pony (MLP) crew has trotted up to Kumoya! Running from now till 30 December, this MLP collaboration is possibly the French-Japanese cafe’s most colourful yet. They’ve transformed their space into a rainbow wonderland rivalling the likes of Equestria, creating a picture perfect backdrop for MLP fans of all ages.
But that’s not all! Creative food artist, Shirley Wong (aka Little Miss Bento) has stepped up yet again with a deliciously adorable menu inspired by none other than the fab six. Here are our top recommendations!
Magic Friendship Rainbow Big Breakfast, $24.90
The breakfast of (equestrian) champions, this huge breakfast set serves up delicious scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage with sweet rainbow bread on the side. As the food portion is quite generous, you can share this with your child and save room for other dishes!
Pinkie Pie Playful Waffles with Karaage Chicken, $23.90
Love waffles? Dig in to this quirky dish that combines sweet waffles and maple syrup, with savoury chicken karaage that adds a delectable crunch. For parents trying to ease their child into eating their veggies, the adorably shaped garden salad it’s served with should do the trick.
Twilight Sparkle Soaring Skies Chicken Katsu Burger, $22.90
Decked out with sparkles and wings, this dish soared straight into our hearts. Beyond its cute exterior, we really enjoyed how the teriyaki sauce balanced out the tender chicken katsu, and the savoury crunch of the curly fries.
*Magical Princesses with Magic Potion Galaxy Cake, $21.90
An interactive treat that never fails to amaze, simply top the cake with the Galaxy-inspired glaze to create your one-of-a-kind dessert. Get your cameras ready for this one!
*Receive a Free Twilight Sparkle keyring plush (Worth $14.90) when you purchase this magical dessert!
Candylicious Rainbow Fruity Shibuya Toast, $24.90
If you love surprises, this rainbow dessert is just for you! This huge bread tower is actually filled with marshmallows and toasted sweet butter bread, which make it convenient for kids to scoop without cutting through. Plus, there are plenty of fruits included, so it won’t all be a sugar fest.
Rainbow Dash Fluffy Clouds Bubblegum Soda with Fluffy Cotton Candy, $12.90
One of the most unique drinks we have ever seen, Rainbow Dash rests on top of this huge fluffy cotton candy cloud splattered with rainbow balls. Separated into a small bottle, experience the magic when the cloud dissolves into the drink when you pour the soda through. This fun beverage can get really messy though, so be sure to scoop the cotton candy into the drink before it starts falling apart.
Magical Friends Vanilla Strawberry Frappe with Colourful Donut Cake, $13.90
Sugar, sprinkles, and donut cake, oh my! If your usual at Starbucks is a vanilla strawberry frappe, then this creamy beverage won’t disappoint.
**All drinks come with a My Little Pony limited-edition coaster. Collect them all while stocks last!
