Twilight Encounters at Night Safari
From now till 31 December, walk amongst mystical geometric animals on magical glowing trails during Night Safari’s wildest glow-in-the-dark event! Kickstart the night with wild photo opportunities with special animal appearances by nocturnal creatures like the binturong at the Entrance Courtyard. Following that, steer into overdrive watching the high octane Thumbuakar Neon Performance, with neon lights and choreographed dance moves.
Catch the vibrant Geometric Animal Lights modelled after Night Safari’s living residents. The iconic Asian elephant light sculpture will greet you at the Entrance Plaza, while the glowing pangolin, sloth bear and many more await, nestled within the walking trails. With Trails Aglow, Night Safari’s dark and mysterious walking trails – Fishing Cat Trail, Leopard Trail, East Lodge Trail and Wallaby Trail – come alive with the soft glow of the Milky Way. Discover the secret amongst the shimmering letters and stand a chance to walk away with attractive prizes!
Trek through the glowing trails and make your way to Zebra Café where more lustrous activities await. Get Your Glow On and paint your faces with fluorescent patterns, you’ll be sure to stand out in the night. Then show it off by striking your best pose in the Glow Booth, a UV light photo booth designed for your photo-taking needs.

Super-sized Fun Activities at Singapore Zoo and River Safari
Find yourself surrounded by 20 larger-than-life invertebrates (animals without backbones) at Singapore Zoo’s Land of Giants trail! Follow the ants to different activity pit stops and create a creepy crawler, enjoy a puppetry performance or spy on some invertebrates through the bug magnifier.
Over at River Safari, embark on the super-sized edition of River Trails and discover gigantic facts about river dwellers. Don’t forget to marvel at the Mekong giant catfish and giant freshwater stingray. Then join in the River Talk and meet one of the largest flying birds and the world’s largest rodent! Canola the manatee mascot also awaits for photos galore.

Indulge In All Things Blue and Brazilian at Jurong Bird Park!
This year end, get ready to samba the town blue and catch a glimpse of the world’s rarest blue macaws at Jurong Bird Park! Native to Brazil, the critically endangered Spix’s macaw and endangered Lear’s macaw will be making their inaugural appearance at the park’s Parrot Paradise exhibit. Together with Jurong Bird Park’s Hyacinth macaw, they will make up the entire remaining blue macaw family. Check out the fun Brazilian festivities happening at the park – be captivated by Capoeira, a Brazilian martial art form that combines music, dance and acrobatics and sway to the sexy beat of the samba with sambistas, or try to mirror their smooth dance moves!
