Diets That Combat Postpartum Stress

In Thomson Chinese Medicine, the condition of experiencing fatigue, stress and moodiness is known to be related to the well-being of our liver. When we are constantly subjected to stress, it will affect our liver to the extent that it hinders our liver from performing to its optimal. This is also known as “肝郁气滞”.

It is vital to bring equilibrium to our body to allow it to handle stress and mood swings more effectively.  So here are some of the suggested diets from Physician Gee Swee Sien, Thomson Chinese Medicine, that you might find useful in relieving stress. Consume them two to three times per week to reap the best results.
