DIY Eggshell Tea Light Candle Centrepiece
• Food colouring of your choice
• 2 tablespoons of vinegar
• Warm water
• Tea light candles
• Egg holder
A DIY idea that’s more suitable for older kids on account of the potentially messy dyeing involved, gather and clean the eggshells before dipping them into a solution of food colouring, vinegar and warm water for five to 10 minutes. The folks at Little Inspiration have the full deets on this gorgeous project, so check it out here.
Wire Rabbit Ears
• Craft wire
• Pliers (optional)
Great for honing older kids’ dexterity and motor skills, add a quirky touch to brunch all year round with these super aesthetic, extremely effortless wire rabbit ears. You’ll need a crown base, two inner ears (make sure to leave a hook measurement of 7mm for twisting around the base), and two outer ears (leave a hook measurement of 8mm). Then, simply twist each wire piece into place neatly.
