Young families who are starting to worry about enrolling your kids into their first schools will be happy to know that there are many new up and coming pre-schools. Early Learning Village

The world’s first Early Learning Village is now open at 3 Chuan Lane in central Singapore. Boasting a 50,000 sqm campus, The Australian International School and Stamford American International School have collaborated to launch this first-of-its-kind Reggio Emilia-inspired pre-school with a capacity of 2,100, purpose-built entirely for children aged 18 months to 6 years, and caters to all nationalities. While both schools are in one location, they operate independently supporting their respective education philosophies and pathways. The campus hosts over 100 classrooms, sports facilities, multi-purpose spaces, covered outdoor play spaces and a cohesive set of drop off, pick up and parking locations.

MOE Kindergartens at Punggol

Three new kindergartens are slated to launch in 2019 and will be co-located within Oasis Primary School, Punggol Cove Primary School and Waterway Primary School. They will each have about 240 places, a four-hour kindergarten programme and before/after school care till 7pm. They will cater to all eligible Singaporean Nursery 2 (N2) children from four upcoming early years centres in Punggol, with 20% of places allocated to children who are not from the designated early year centres.
